Friends

Last Saturday, my classmates and i planned to visit the Skybridge, since we have not been there. I know, we are all "sam pa lou". Just when we were about to go, a friend of ours called and told us that the tickets were sold out for the day because they only allow 40 visitors per day. In the end, plan changed and we went to Neway for Karaoke session. =) We all had a great time. Towards the end, we weren singing, we were blasting fast beat songs and screaming. DT28 are really abnormal...Haha!

Its seriously crazily hot!! My cousin and housemate decided to take a trip to Genting, just for a walk. That was about 12am. We changed and headed straight to Genting. Arrived there at 1am and there were so many people even though the shops are closed. Everyone was enjoying the cool weather. Stayed there for a few hours, got home at 5am.

The Most Unlucky Day Of My Life

It was suppose to be a happy day.

Today class ended at 10am. My friends and i went for breakfast. We didn know that we need to pay parking fees. After breakfast, i saw a piece of white paper. Great, KENA SAMAN! My friend too. RM100. Sigh.

Then when i was on the way home. I called a friend of mine. I turned on the loud speaker and the phone was on my lap. As i was turning, the police stopped me. GREAT!! He say i'm not suppose to put the phone on my lap. Have to use hand free. WTH! He asked me so many times whether i wan a saman or just pay him. I know, i know, i'm not suppose to pay him. BUT RM200 bucks for the saman, i wont have any money to survive for the rest of the month. In the end, i paid him. Sigh.

Called my mom. I was given a whole lecture by her. Great!

I feel so lost now. ='(

Dad+BBQ Dinner+Crazy Day+Results

Its only the 2nd week of Term 6 and i'm going crazy. So many things to do. Photo exhibition this Wed and nothing is ready. I'm so gonna get it from my lecturer tomorrow. =(

Ok. Enough about that. I'm "rojak-ing" a few things in this post.

My dad was here the week before i went to Cambodia, for work of course. I met up with him and stayed with him at the hotel. Shopped quite a lot. Hehe! Dad brought me to "delicious" for dessert on a Thurs night. The desserts are superb, especially the Peach and Banana Crumble.Yum! The next day, i went up to Ipoh with my dad. He was having his meeting there, so i just hang around one of the malls. Was really having a good time chatting and catching up with one another. =)

After my Cambodia trip, the night before Term 6 starts, my classmates wanted to have a BBQ Dinner [last term together =( ]. Since i shifted and this place has a poolside bbq, i invited them over. The sad thing, it was raining and we had to set up our own bbq place. The rain stopped after an hour, thank God! We all had a great time, even though most of us were sick.

Last weekend was a total random week. My class ended at 10am on Friday and i was really bored. Bev came over to swim and then we went for lunch in Asia Cafe with Elaine and Gg. After lunch, it was about 3pm, Elaine,Bev and i decided to go Mid Valley. We spent the whole day there and after that the girls decided to stay in my house. We had a great time talking crap and shopping and emo-ing together. Next day, we went swimming and tanning. Yes, i'm tanned! =) After that, it was about 2pm. We head to Sunway Pyramid, suppose to see David Archuleta but in the end decided not to go. It was another day of shopping again. We bought a top each. After walking around for sometime, i dont know what went into the girl's mind, they wanna pierce their navel. Gosh, it was so scary, i was recording the whole process for both of them. -.- I got my ears pierced again. =)

Lastly,
my results for Term 5 was out at 8pm just now. I did quite ok. Not very happy with my Inbound Tourism Operations marks though, i mean after all the hard work of organizing the tour and stuff like that..sigh. Oh well, i still want to Thank the Lord for this. Thank You Jesus for being with me every step of the way. =)

Taylor's exams are really not easy. All are accumulated since day 1 of Term 5. Every practical, presentations, role play, theory, attendance, participation and so on. Sigh..So,
My results (Over 20) :
English 16.70
Financial Mathematics and Analysis 19.70
Basic French 15.78
Asian Culture & Heritage 17.20
Law for Tourism and Hospitality 19.00
Inbound Tourism Operations 16.15

Global average : 17.42
I'm satisfied =)

Thats all for now. Have to wake up early for class. Good Night. =)

*Wait, did i mention that my baby is here? I mean my car. Been driving here for a week. The jam really kills. =S

Bon Soir!

Term 6!

1st day of class in Term 6 sucks! Final term.

We had our 1st class today at 9am with Miss Chaya and we all can commit suicide. Knowing our finals is just 8 weeks away and we had to revise everything since term 1. We have almost 6 practical exams and 4 theory papers which is about 3-4 hours per paper.AH!!
We now have to do a research on all the states of Malaysia. Every single detail, from history to arts, culture, dances, food and so on...Sigh..

Next class was French. Thank God we have Miss Sandrine again. French test will be all practical. Sigh. We all cant speak proper french.

After lunch break, we had Human Resource Management class. The lecturer sucks! She speaks like 1 word in 3 seconds. Damn slow! Not only that, so soft and with a very weird slang. Because she was so slow and soft, my friends and i started talking. We were sitting behind. She asked us to sit in front and she sat some ground rules for us. We nearly fall asleep. We were so glad the class ended. Stupid miss...

Last class for today was Travel and Tour operation practical class. and guess what? 2 of my friends, Ray and Met and i have to do a presentation tomorrow for our tour packaging. Individual this time. Sigh. We've been sitting in Starbucks and Station 1 since 10pm doing this. Sigh. 1st day of class already got assignment and we have to present tomorrow. Sigh.

Sigh. Term 6 sucks! So much to do...*cries*

Kingdom of Cambodia

I just came back from a wonderful trip in Cambodia for 4D/3N. Its DT28's regional tour. Everything was good except the weather. The temperature was 40 degrees!! Really humid..
90% of the Cambodians are Buddhist and 80% are farmers. Food was ok. They sent us to chinese restaurants for meals. Cambodia is quite a poor country. Beggers and children are seen everywhere trying to sell fruits or books or begging for money. They followed us everywhere we go until the bus. Scary!

31st March 2009
We arrived at Phnom Penh at 4pm (Cambodia time). Mr Rith, our Phnom Penh guide picked us from the airport and headed down to the orphanage. This was not in the itinerary, it was required by the college to go and do some social services. The children were picked up from the dumpsite and put in this school for education provided by the French. They speak good French, ours kalah laaaa..paiseh! Haha.
After visiting the orphanage and giving them gifts, we headed for dinner and then to the hotel. We arranged a suprise party for Sin Sien and Hannah. Told them that I called for a meeting. Sialan this people. Use my name! Haha..All 23 of us including my lecturer, Mr Timo cramped into a small room. Singing and then the guys started the drinking session. All those who dont drink also had to. Sorry girls. I had quite a lot of whisky that night. Tried to hide myself, but could not get away. Haha. After that i went to bed.

1st April 2009
Woke up at 6.30am and left hotel at 8am. We headed down to Phnom Penh town. Visited the Royal Palace and Silver Pagoda.

Then after that, we went to Toul Sleng, the Genocide Musuem. This used to be a prison used during the Khmer Rouge, it was renamed S21. Victims were captured to be tortured here. There were about 14,000 prisoners including men, women, children and only 7 survived. Its really crazy and depressing being in there. The tour guide explained that the victims have to choose their own tortures everyday, such as pulling their fingernails and so on. EVERYDAY! My goodness. Look at the rules they have.

There are 4 blocks. Block A are the cells. They are bigger and locked. There were pics hanging on the wall of the victim when they died. Blood stains were still there on the ceiling. I felt so sick.

Block B was all the pics of the victims. All 14000 of them. Looking at pics of the children really hurts.
Block C was another block of cells made by bricks or wood. Electric wires were hanging ouside the block so that they would not commit suicide.

Block D was filled with equipments that was used to torture the victims. Its super crazy. We all came out from that place without a word. It was so depressing.

After that, we head for lunch and then continue a 6hours drive down to Siem Rep. The road was really bumpy. We stopped at some stalls on the way and a group of kids came to us. "Handsome, buy some mangoes from me. Maybe Later? Remember me..." "Jie jie, ni hen piao liang." The tone was really funny. My classmates only remembers this and keep repeating this throughtout the trip. We arrived Siem Rep at 8pm. Went for dinner and then to the hotel.

2nd April 2009
Again left the hotel at 8am and headed to Bayon Temple. It was really beautiful. Studying the architecture.
South Gate

Ta Phrom Temple.
The 3 Buddha's face.

After lunch, we went to Tonle Sap, the floating village. The water was really dirty.

Highlight of the trip - Angkor Wat! Its so beautiful and big. Sadly, we only can spend about 45 minutes there. We were running out of time. Suppose to be in Bakheng Hill for sunset but it was closed by the time we arrived.

We went to a restaurant for buffet dinner watching Apsara Dance.
DT 28 =) outside Bayon Temple
3rd April 2009
Flew back to KL early in the morning. Everyone was exhausted but we enjoyed ourselves.
*more pics in Facebook.*

Well Done, DT28! I'm proud of you! =)
