Greetings from Maldives!

Hey everyone, just to let you know, i've safely arrived in maldives, in Anantara resort.

We arrived last night at 12.30am (msia time) and because of the imigration, we missed the boat to the resort and had to wait for an hour. By the time the boat came, it was bout 2.30am (msiatime). Arrived the resort and check in and walkaround, it was almost 4am (msia time). Seriously tired. Still tryiing to adjust to the time here.

Everything here is way beyond our expectations. 6 of us are staying together, while the 2 boys are sharing with others. we have attached bathroom. we're staying on the staff island, which had great facilities actually. They have a gym, computer room, clinic, canteen and so on. The food here is good. Eeverythings good except the weather, its quite hot. but thank god for aircons and fans in the rooms. hehe.

This morning we had an amazing chat with the HR manager discussing about everything. He told us why he brought us in. I was suprised when he told us that he needs us to make things change here. Told us the problems here with the staffs. Having attitude problems and so on. We're here to change the mind set and setting good examples for these people. He took us in also because we're aseans. He is really expecting a lot from us. He told everyone in the resort that we're not to be bullied or asked to get a cup of coffee. He told his staffs that we're high intelligent people and one day we might be their bosses. Haha!! No wonder last night when we arrived, we do no need to carry our luggages. and btw, everyone was staring at us, bcoz 90% here are all male. haha. All 8 of us are assigned to different departments and they're all tough ones. We are the 1st batch coming in from Malaysia and taylors, so we need to really do good. hehe. So we're here to learn, help and exchange knowledge.

The water here is so clear.i mean Really clear! Hmm..diving..surfing..mm hmmm..awesome!

Its 4pm here and we need to go meet the GM now. Get to tour around the 3 resorts. Hehe. Excited.

Au revoir!

OH OH OH..DID I MENTION I MET BLACK EYE PEAS YESTERDAY?? OMG! THEY WERE JUST RIGHT NEXT TO US. THEY SAID HI. I WAS JUMPING UP AND DOWN THE WHOLE DAY. THEY MADE MY DAY.

Happy?Sad?

1st of all, I've finally got my training confirmed! Bought my ticket today. =)
Thank you Lord and dad and mom for paying my airfare.
On top of that, my good friend is coming along too. Last minute. Hehe. Really happy.

I'm really excited bout my training this time bcoz i'm going with 7 other friends and in Maldives. Hehe. It'll be a whole new experience. Just to show you where i'm going....

There're lots more beautiful pics. Go check - Anantara Resort, Maldives.

The sad part...
I only get to go back KK for 2 days. =(
Flying off on the 24th to Maldives.
Gonna miss my family and friends.

You make me smile like the sun
Fall out of bed, sing like bird
Dizzy in my head, spin like a record
Crazy on a Sunday night
You make me dance like a fool
Forget how to breathe
Shine like gold, buzz like a bee
Just the thought of you can drive me wild
Ohh, you make me smile

Assignments

Despite all the stress, this term my classmates and i really had fun. Not like the usual just doing powerpoint presentations but with videos, dance, stomps and raps. The assignments are officially over and now exams are just around the corner. By the time this ends, its the end of Term 4. So fast.

Anyway, just some updates about the week..

My parents were here for a few days. Enjoyed spending time with them even though its just for a while. I miss them =(

Last Wed, we had our exhibition "Taylor's to Toulouse" in college. We started at 10am - 4pm. It was so tiring because the crowd was non stop. We had about 300 people, which was unexpected. My lecturer was happy with it and gave us full mark. =) =)
Thank you BDT31 for the great work and effort and thank you to those who came and support.

Then on Thurs night, we had a farewell for Mr Taiwan. He left today. All the best to you, TC!

Spent the weekend doing nothing. Just hang out with Christina.

Yesterday, Law assignment was over. YES! Every group did a wonderful job explaining the differences between Sole Prop, Partnership and Company Law through drama, dances, musical.....My group did some singing, stomp and dance. Watch this video. We're not pros, so yeah..its a bit cacat. Haha!

To end this post, would like to show you a video done by my friends from Hospitality for their French assignment. They did it so professionally. Proud of them. Enjoy!

Au revoir. I can now finally sleep~~Zzzz
