The week before new year..

The week before CNY was quite relax, but at the same time also stuff to do.

DT 28 had our 1st formal meeting on Wednesday. We are all preparing for our Regional Tour to Cambodia. Excited! Everyone attended the meeting with much seriousness and they all prepared their individual report (which i asked) on time! =) The meeting went on for about 1 hour. I got my vice chairman, Marvin to chair the meeting.Hehe. So here it goes...

Then on Thurs, Bev and i went to Elaine's hse to visit her. Elaine is down with chicken pox. Poor thing. Suprisingly, Kelvin Soo was there too. Elaine got everyone to take pics with her. She doesn seem sick. =p

Friday night. I really enjoyed mysef. Went out with Elaine, Daniel Samraj and Loh, my high school friends. Its so good to meet them again. We went to The Apartment in The Curve for dinner. The place is really nice. The design the place like an apartment. Living Room, Bedroom, Kitchen, Attic, Bathroom and etc. We got a place at the living room and it was cosy and nice. No wonder so many couples =S The food was not bad. We were so comfortable that we sat there for more than 2 hours. Sitting on the sofas.

I'm now back in KK and I'll be going to Sandakan for New Year. Will update once i get back.

Et j'attends

This whole week was really stressful and depressing for me. Sigh. I couldn breathe. So many things on my mind.

The whole week was preparing for the tour. The air ticket part was a big issue. Whether we should ask the agent to book or we should buy ourselves. Have to think about the price difference, the risk, so on and so forth. Sigh! The issue is still not settled. Some of them don have their passports yet, so we have to wait. Wednesday having our formal meeting for the 1st time, getting my vice chairman to chair the meeting. I need a break!

Not only busy with the tour, was loaded with assignments and presentations.

Feel like screaming! ITS JUST THE 2ND WEEK OF COLLEGE!! GIVE ME A BREAK!! *breathe breathe*

Wanted to lock myself at home during the weekends but din work. Went out with Kristal, had lunch and went shopping! =)

Anyway, went to class today at 11am. All of us waited til 11.35am and the lecturer have not appear. Decided to leave. Everyone left except a few gals. Got a call at 11.50am that my lecturer just got in class and he is not canceling it because he doesn want to replace it. WTH! If i went back to class, will be just sitting in there for half an hour then ends, so my friends who left decided not to go back. Hopefully this crazy lecturer doesn take any action.

Had our 2nd meeting about the tour today without my vice chairman who was in Sg attending Singapore Airlines interview. Reconfirmed everything and submitted the proposal. One thing down, many more to go. Sigh. =(
Have to finish my Industrial Training report. =(

The happy thing is that i'm going back to KK nxt SAT!! Woohoo! cant wait to meet everyone again. Miss all of you.

i dreamt about you. Happily holding someone in your arms. That smile on your face was just so bright. You were so happy because that was what you wanted all along. I looked at you trying to say hi, but you ignored me. My heart was pain. I woke up and found myself tearing. Why?? I dont know. I dont know why this feeling. I dont want to know the answer because i'm just too afraid to face the truth.

1st of all, HAPPY BIRTHDAY EILVANE!!! Love you heaps! =) *hugs*

I'm so dead tired right now. Slept at 3am this morning rushing a proposal and presentation and woke up at 7am, went to class till 4pm. Meet up with my dad and got home at 9pm. I'm being very grumpy now and complained bout everything, getting frustrated about every single thing. AHH!! *breathe breathe*

So today the class decided our destination. We are going to Cambodia! =) I'm really excited. Had the 1st meeting too. Everything went well and i'm glad for a good team of people. Now i have to worry about the proposal that i have to submit tomorrow to the college for approval. Sigh.

College is getting really strict this year. Those who dyed their hair got a warning letter from the college. Hope i dont get it. No more wearing semi formal. WTH. Have to wear formal every single day (those with collars). Sigh. Miss 3 classes and you no need to enter class anymore. Gosh. I think they just wanna maintain the Hospitality and Tourism Industry standard and image. Oh well, just have to follow.

Today is the 1st day of class for the new batch. So many new students. Packed everywhere. No cute guys! Haha.

Went out with dad just now for dinner and shopping. Had a great time. He misses me =) =) Haha

Oh. I had my 1st accident. I was so tired but i had to iron clothes. I had to iron 11 clothes altogether (my cousin's and mine). While i was ironing, i dunno how, i ironed my own finger!!!!
!@#!@$@$%#% I stared at my poor index finger. Blank! Now its so pain and red. =S I'm so careless. 1st time! Never hurt myself even though i've been cooking for years, doing house chores. Never, this is the 1st time. Sigh. Guess i'm just too tired.

Term 5 - Week 1

College started for a week and i dont like it!! Urgh! I'm in Term 5 now till March. This term i'm taking 6 subjects ONLY (Last term got 9 subjects). Even though this term only got 6 subjects, but i still have to study 24 hours per week (well, better than last term). My subjects are quite interesting :

- French II (Love my French lecturer, she is only 23! Gosh)
- Asian Culture and Heritage (Boring)
- Financial Mathematics and Analysis
- English V
- Inbound Tour Operation II
- Law

Class started and everyone dislike it because assignments are pouring in. Sigh. I have :

- Asian Culture and Heritage research and report. + Presentation end of term
- English essay (700 words) + presentation + portfolio
- Inbound tour operation - Proposal need to hand in tomorrow. Sigh.
- Industrial training report

This is just the beginning.

~ French class was good. Everyone enjoyed during the lecture and trying hard to improve our French.

~ Asian Culture and Heritage sub was BORING! The lecturer just hates us and we hate him. Haha!

~ Financial Mathematics and Analysis. Gosh! I need to revise everything i learnt from Term 2. Got so lost in class. Sigh

~ English, nothing interesting.

~ Law. I'm starting to love law. The lecturer is superb. She is a lawyer. Love her energy when she teaches. Love the debates we get to do in class. Love the noise. Everything! =)

~ Inbound tour operation. Huh..this..my class is suppose to organise a Regional tour this term (Last term was domestic tour). Either Philippines, Cambodia or Thailand. Committee was set up and i was elected as the Chairman. I declined but my lecturer told me i got no choice =S. Was thinking to let someone else do since last term i got the chance to be the vice already. The whole class voted me and i cant say anything. Lucky i have Marvin as my assisstant =) sigh, its gonna be very stressful, AGAIN! Oh well, I'll do my best. DT 28, you guys gotta help me out.

So thats about it..my 1st week..i can feel the stress coming. Its gonna be another stressful term.

Was out every single day during tat week.

29th Dec
Went out to watch Ip Man. Its seriously a good show. Donny Yen acting as Ip Man was just perfect! After movie, Pat & i went to Upperstar and we talked until 1.30am. I dont remember what we were talking bout for so long. Haha.

30th Dec
The Six's reunion in Halo Cafe. Its so good to meet up with the gang again after half a year. Everyone looks the same, talks the same, not a single change in any of them. While talking to them, i felt like i was sitting in 5S1, in that corner right in front with this bunch of crazy ppl talkin crap all the way and making the teacher pissed. Haha! Miss those moments.

- Ying Fei, All the best! Excited for you that you are going to England. =)
- Bryan, don be so blur eh! You're going to Miri already, take care! =)

- Eilvane, i sms you so often, no need to say la..u know what i'm thinking bout..Haha! =p..All the best in your Diploma. Quickly graduate. =)

31st Dec
Went out with Pat to search for Sotong balls for the steamboat. Only found it after searching in the wet market and Servay which is all the way in Putatan. After dinner, i went to join the rest of the gang in Bel's house, watched Spiderman 3 to wait for the time to pass then about 11.30pm, we drove to Sutera and guess wat, we couldn enter. In the end, went to Times Square, stand there and watch fireworks. we look like idiots but oh well, its just once a year. Haha! Then after that we went to Halo Cafe for a drink.

1st Jan
Spent the whole day with my family. Then at night, went out with some of them for movie, "Australia". i only rate 5/10 for this movie. Not really that great, not really that bad.

2nd Jan
Had lunch with the DA gang (Debbie, Darian, Andrew and Addie) in Little Italy. Was suppose to meet up at 11am but we got stuck in the jam for almost an hour, finally parked at Wisma and walked over. Mel came and join us too. After lunch, met up with Aunty Margaret and Maxine in City Mall for a drink. Rushed home to get mom and went to damai to pay my school fees. Rushed home after that to cook dinner. Jo came over for dinner, had a great time! After dinner, we drove all the way to One Borneo to meet up with the Crossroads people. About 10pm, drove all the way to Carcasean, City Mall to meet up with the next gang. Then went home about 12pm. Dead tired! But have to pack because i was leaving the next day.

3rd Jan
Woke up early because i had to go for breakfast with my grandma and aunties. After breakfast, went home and do my final packing and i was off to the airport. Debbie told me that "they" are coming to send me off. I was expecting just 3 or 4 of them. MANATAU, i think there were more than 20 of them there. *eyes dropped* I was really happy being able to spend time with them before i leave. I was holding my tears all the way until i sat down in the plane, tears started to flow. i started to read magazines, books, just to get my mind off. but it din work, tears just keep flowing. Sigh. These people, make me miss them only.
*Elaine, you better not ffk me anymore, don wanna fly alone.=p*

Memories of 2008

The year 2008 was like a "Roller Coaster" year for me, going up and down. But throughout the whole year, happy times and tough times, God was always with me. =)

1st quater of the year (Term 3)

2nd quater of the year in KK

Made good friends with Darian, Andrew, Debbie and Addie. =)

Had my 1st industrial training in Borneo Eco Tours for 3 months.

Went to the island with the Kidzone teachers

Celebrated Jo's bday in Kenny Rogers and Tanjung Aru.

The highlight of the whole year..BREAKTHROUGH CAMP! I had my breakthrough during this camp after struggling for 10 months. It was a really great camp. I enjoyed myself a lot, except the partwhere i have to wash my hair for more than 5 times because of the flour and egg. Eww...

Xmas!!

2008 is gone and 2009 came. 2009 will be much greater!

Xmas 2008

I know its a little too late to blog about Xmas 2008, no time ba....=p

It was the busiest and the most tired xmas i ever had in my whole life. Having practices every single day for 1 month plus is tiring. Xmas was different this time because Skyline had it in the Magellan Grand Ballroom (packed with 1500 people) instead of church and this time i'm wasn in the Children Ministry =).

I got together with Debbie to lead the Youth group, did a drama and a dance. The theme for Xmas was about Father's Love Letter. Its the 1st time doing a drama for the youth so it was quite hard. Thank God for people like Josh Siaw who had been giving us ideas and both Josh and Patrick helping us to edit the sounds. Thanks so much guys =)

The whole drama was about showing a guy who is a loser, Nigel as the main character and after he had lost all hope, he found a letter God wrote to him (Media presentation) and then the dance "He still loves me" - Yes, the song from Fighting Temptation. After the dance, the choir sang "Imagine Me", and they were really good! The kids did the ribbon dance (they did really well after much scoldings from me, Haha! Really proud of them) and Hillsong Kids - My Number One.

We've got a special guest, Ritchell (a 13 yr old girl who is blind) came and sing for us and to share her testimony. I missed this whole part, Sigh!! Only listened to her cd. =( My mom said lots of people teared when they heard her sing. The anointing was just so strong. Even my Aunt who has the hardest heart teared, imagine that. Ps Philip preached after that and called for altar call. We had 50+ salvations, Praise the Lord! Overall the whole event went well.

This xmas was really something. My mom invited my aunt and uncle from Sdk to come for this event. Had been praying real hard to reach out to all my relatives. This aunt and uncle of mine are the strongest buddhist among all my other relatives, so we always thought that they will be the last, but No! They agreed and drove over to KK for this event. They came that morning bringing my grandma along and the amazing thing is my uncle stayed through the whole service, even during sermon (he is a smoker, normally he smokes every half an hour)!! We were really suprised. They did not receive Christ but I believe God did something in their hearts, just waiting for the right time =). Keep praying.

Had Xmas dinner at home. This is the 1st year we din invite much friends, just about 20 of us. Usually we have about 50 ppl for xmas dinner. I had a great time with Jo, Mel, Josh, Bernard and Patrick. After that i went out with Amos, Andrew and Brian.
